Stag Timber Floors · Central Coast & Hunter Valley
I sand floors with a multi-stage process — starting with a coarse grit to level the timber, then stepping through progressively finer grits until the surface is dead flat and smooth. Every machine runs dust extraction, so the mess stays contained and your house stays liveable.
Once the sanding is done, I apply a Bona water-based or modified oil finish — one seal coat followed by two top coats. The result is a floor that looks brand new, resists daily wear, and holds up for years without needing to be redone.
I do every job myself, start to finish. No subbies, no shortcuts. If the floor isn’t right, it doesn’t leave. That’s the standard.
Damian inspects the floor in person — checking species, condition, previous coatings and any repairs needed. You get an honest assessment and a fixed price.
Furniture cleared, edges taped, dust extraction rigged. Every machine runs with vacuum or dust bag to keep the mess minimal.
Multiple passes at progressively finer grits — starting coarse to level the floor, finishing fine for a smooth, flat surface ready for coating.
One seal coat, two top coats. Bona water-based or modified oil systems. Low odour, non-toxic. Walk-on next day, rugs down in 2-4 weeks.
