Stag Timber Floors is a one-man operation based on the Central Coast of NSW. I am Damian, and I do every job myself from start to finish. No subcontractors, no sales team, no office staff. When you call, I answer. When I quote it, I do it. That is the whole model.
I started Stag Timber Floors because I wanted to do things properly. I had spent enough time watching corners being cut on job sites and wanted to build something where quality was not negotiable. Every floor I sand, lay and finish carries my name, so it has to be right.
I use Bona finishes exclusively. Their water-based polyurethanes and modified oil systems are the best on the market for durability, clarity and low odour. I am a Bona certified applicator, which means I have direct access to their full professional product range and ongoing technical training. Read more about Bona finish options on my blog.
I cover the entire Central Coast and Hunter Valley region. From Woy Woy and the peninsula up to Toukley and Lake Haven, and across to Gosford, Erina and Terrigal. If you are in the region, I can get to you.
I am a member of the Australian Timber Flooring Association (ATFA), part of the Floor Sanding Australia network, and a member of the Sand-Aid group. These memberships keep me connected to industry best practice and give my customers confidence that the work is being done to recognised standards.
People ask about the name. A stag is a solo operator at the top of its game. That is the idea. One person, doing one thing well, with no compromise. The antler in the logo is a nod to that. Simple.
